FlatEarth Adventures belongs to the growing number of companies contributing to the focus on ecotourism. The company has a unique location on the border of the Hardangervidda National Park which is Northern Europe’s most extensive highland plateau and Norway’s largest national park. The National Park is an exceedingly valuable highland area. It is home to the largest herds of wild reindeer in Europe and is the southernmost habitat of the snow owl, the Arctic fox and other rare species of Arctic flora and fauna. Literally, right outside the door of FlatEarth Adventures, you can also find 3 salmon rivers, Hardangerfjorden, The Queen of Fjords, with it’s breathtaking steep mountain walls. A little further away you find the amazing glaciers Folgefonna and Hardangerjøkulen as well as the most famous waterfall in Norway, the spectacular Vøringfossen.
